It's been more than a month since I last posted something in this blog. I've been just too busy with studying, birding, travelling and painting for the last few months. It's about time I thought I should do something with it. So here we go, some photos from my latest trip to Hokkaido with a group of Thai birders and naturalists. We had great times in Sapporo, Kushiro and Rausu. We even survived the snow storm which killed 8 people and blacked out the whole Rausu for the first time in 30 years!

In case some of you might wonder why I call it the end of the world, basically it's because Shiretoko (the name of the peninsula where Rausu is located) means "the end of the world" in Ainu (the indigenous people of Hokkaido) language.
