On August 17, my dad found this Streaked Spiderhunter's nest at Doi Angkhang while we were just chilling on the balcony of the Royal Project restaurant. It was built on a banana leave in an extraordinary way. The ball-shaped nest is sewed to the banana leave similarly to a tailorbird's nest. It's amazing just to imagine how a bird could do something so sophisticated like that. But what's even more interesting about this nest is how it was built on top of the banana leave. Normally, the nest should be built under the leave and also in the middle. I truly have no idea why it was like this. Any suggestion from your side?
